As an Embedded Systems Engineer, you will drive our development of data collection devices and methods. You will shape all aspects of the development of a full-stack data collection solution, from conceptualization to design and potentially production. You will also be responsible for data collection efforts happening at customer sites, helping with customer-specific implementation, and building a customer-ready product. As an early employee, you will take responsibility from day one and work closely with the founders and the rest of the team.
Responsibilities
- Drive the concept and implementation of data-collection devices and quickly iterate over architecture design.
- Full-stack design of embedded systems, including hardware design
- Work closely with the Robotics and AI teams to ensure efficient and stable deployment
- Write clean, maintainable code
Requirements
- Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Robotics or related field, or equivalent Master-level experience in industry
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in embedded systems development
- PCB design experience
- Experience in professional software development (version tracking, CI/CD pipelines)
- Proficiency with Linux Systems
- Fluency with C++ and Python
- Project management/supervision experience
- Fluent English speaker
Nice to have
- Solid understanding of large-scale foundation model approaches
- Previous experience in CE certification of products
- Flex PCB design knowledge
- Robotics and ROS2 experience
- Experience with Rust
