Job Description
As a key resource of the Learning & Development team, the Early Career Talent Specialist will own end-to-end and scale our programmes for early career talents at global level, including hiring, training, talent development, employer branding, etc.
The resource will interact with all HR functional areas and expected to become a reference person within the organization on the assigned activities.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone willing to work in an international, fast-paced and client-oriented HR team within a global private banking group.
Main responsibilities
Early Career Strategy and Execution
- Lead EFG Early Career Talents Development Programs (for graduates, interns and apprentices) by designing, implementing and advancing our programs globally, ensuring alignment with program requirements and regional needs.
Early Career Talent Acquisition
- Manage the full hiring process for graduates, interns and apprentices globally.
- Partner closely with line managers and HRBPs to understand hiring needs and align early career talent strategies to meet workforce planning goals.
- Develop and scale university engagement strategies, including building long-term partnerships with key universities and participating in job fairs and campus events.
Early Career Skill Development, Engagement & Performance Monitoring
- Develop and oversee comprehensive onboarding process for a smooth transition of early career talents into the organization, ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience.
- Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and mentorship programs to enhance readiness and skill development of early career talents.
- Track and evaluate the progress and performance of early career talents, providing feedback and support for their career development.
Early Career Programs Improvement
- Gather feedback through surveys and touchpoints; analyse insights to assess program effectiveness, identify opportunities for improvement, and guide decision-making and program adjustments.
Global Learning & Development Initiatives
- Support the design, development and implementation of global talent development processes (including succession planning, talent management, etc.)
- Assist with internal talent development initiatives to foster growth within the organization.
The Early Career Talent Specialist will report to the Head of Talent Development and will work closely with line managers, HR Business Partners and local HR units to assess, identify and fulfil our employees’ development needs.
Skills and Experience
- University degree, preferably in human resources, organizational development, economics or related field
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in early career talent acquisition or development field within structured HR departments of international companies
- People and client oriented with a real passion for people development and delivering outstanding customer service
- International mindset and multicultural experience
- Proactive and positive attitude with relentless energy and intellectual curiosity
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills; experience of working with multiple stakeholders across functions and countries
- Strong communication skills: able to thoughtfully structure key messages and information with clarity and impact
- Strong organizational skills: able to work independently, effectively handling multiple priorities and delivering in a dynamic and demanding environment
- Excellent English skills (mandatory) and fluent in at least one language among Italian, French and German
- Solid skills in MS Office programs
