Data Modeller (A)

We are looking for a skilled Data Modeller to support a major data platform project. The role involves capturing and modeling data requirements, designing logical and physical data models, and collaborating closely with business and IT teams to ensure high-quality, integrated data solutions.

Tasks:

• Capture and model data requirements, definitions, business rules, and data quality requirements.
• Conduct impact assessments for application re-wiring: analyze as-is vs. to-be data entities and perform mapping.
• Create logical and physical data models using best practices to ensure high data quality and minimize redundancy.
• Collaborate with the Chief Data Office and business stakeholders to map data entities against the Enterprise Data Catalog.

Requirements:

• Completed degree or professional training in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
• Knowledge of reference architectures for integrated, data-driven landscapes.
• Knowledge of banking data products and financial sector standards.
• Solid understanding of financial data classification and sensitivity.
• Expert knowledge of metadata management and data modeling standards/tools.
• Proficiency in English (business fluent) and good knowledge of German; additional languages are a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work under pressure in cross-divisional IT and business setups.
