Role
We are looking for a Client Support Officer for our Middle East team in Zurich, who will have direct client interaction and be responsible for account management and the execution of financial transactions, ensuring compliance with internal regulations while maintaining high service standards.
Position Tasks:
- Supporting the CRO (Client Relationship Officer) in the daily business activities;
- Active client contact verbally and in writing;
- Provide a top-quality service to clients (regular and prompt contact with clients by phone/email);
- Execution of client account openings, closures and updates (internet search, providing corroborative documents);
- Preparation and follow-up of client visits (account documentation, checking documents, account statements, etc.);
- Execution and control of all client instructions (stock market transactions, payments, foreign currency trades, options, SWAP’s, NDF etc.);
- Various administrative and organizational tasks (client reviews, missing/pending documents, delivery of holdmail, etc.);
- Preparation of marketing material (presentations/pitchbooks/investment proposals/portfolio reviews);
- Promoting paperless accounts and e-banking usage;
- Complying with the Code of Conduct and all internal regulations (e.g. Cross Border, AML, Clear Desk Policy, Absence Management).
Position Skills:
- Commercial apprenticeship in a Bank or similar banking-related education, higher financial education completed or ongoing;
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of previous experience in a Bank;
- Good understanding of financial instruments (equities, bonds, structured products, derivatives);
- Good knowledge of Compliance / AML topics;
- Good Windows Office skills (excel, power point, outlook, etc.);
- Ability to cope with pressure and handle a heavy workload;
- Accurate and detail oriented;
- Team player with a solution driven mindset and a pragmatic approach
- Proficient in spoken and written English. German a plus.
