The Position
Job Title: Administrative Assistant
At the Roche Innovation Center Zurich (RICZ), we are dedicated to developing the next generation of engineered antibody therapeutics to address serious unmet medical needs. As one of Roche’s leading antibody engineering centers, we take pride in our innovative science and our people.
We are looking for a new team member to join our pRED Oncology Operations admin team, a group that plays a key enabling role across our R&D and leadership teams. Our mission is to provide effective operational and administrative support so our scientists can focus on groundbreaking research. You’ll be part of a dynamic, collaborative environment and work closely with administrative colleagues across multiple sites on cross-functional initiatives and events.
The opportunity
Managing calendars and scheduling team/department meetings (onsite, offsite, virtual)
Coordinating interviews, including global participants, and providing full logistical support for meetingsPlanning and executing team events, workshops, and townhalls, including onsite support in Basel (up to 20% travel required)
Supporting onboarding and welcome activities for new team members
Arranging domestic and international travel via Concur and supporting related administrative logisticsCollaborating on Accounts Payable, invoice workflows, SAP approvals, and payroll transactions
Serving as backup for administrative colleagues and assisting with headcount and reporting tasks
Providing general administrative support to leaders and teams based in Basel
Who you are
Are fluent in English (German is a plus); skilled in Microsoft Office and G-Suite
Have 3-5 years of experience in similar role
Have experience with SAP, basic accounting, and scheduling across time zones
Are confident interacting with senior leaders in a complex, global setting
Know your way around Google Meet, Zoom, and virtual collaboration tools
Having strong organizational, communication, and tech skills and you are working well under pressure, juggling multiple priorities and deadlines
Ideally, you have an administrative assistant apprenticeship
